I am currently a Senior Product Designer at Scribd in San Francisco. My approach focuses on working with stakeholders to define the problem space with respect to business goals, applying design and market research methodologies to identify relevant customer problems, and conducting rapid prototyping and testing to scope a design solution. Ultimately my goal is to deliver the right product for customers while achieving business results.
Previously I worked as a Senior Product Designer at Pantheon, the Lead Designer at BinWise, and a User Interface Artist at Schell Games. I currently participate in the Women in STEM mentorship program, and previously participated as a mentor for the Technovation Challenge 2018 season, where I coached a high school girls' team to develop an app idea that addresses a problem in their community.
I received a Master of Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Studio Art and Art History from Saint Vincent College.
In my free time I make personal art (some of which I'll share on my personal art site), devour many books (I read a lot), drink coffee, knit, and play my 3DS or Switch (usually a Legend of Zelda game).
