This month I was featured in my undergrad's newsletter!
Not only did my art technique improve through my studio art and art history classes, but I learned the arguably more important analytical skills necessary to evaluate my work. I have Ben Schachter, Br. Mark Floreanini, O.S.B., and the late Br. Nathan Cochran, O.S.B., to thank. Now that I have wandered over to the design field, this skill has become even more critical. As the design lead for my company, I need to maintain high standards by trying to make the design better today than it was yesterday, while also knowing when to call it done because at the end of the day the product has to ship.
