Why is simple so hard?? When a site doesn't meet what your brain unconsciously expects to see, it has a more difficult time decoding what it's seeing, and immediately perceives it as too complicated.
Building an Enterprise CSS Framework
Behind the scenes look by the lead on the Salesforce Lightning Design System, and how they built up and organized this huge system (I can't imagine what an undertaking this must've been!). What I really appreciate here is that, sure, the team itself could benefit through a system like this, but the real driving factor was feedback from developers who needed a way to create apps that looked like part of the Salesforce brand.

Nice ideas here about keeping your design decisions and notes organized. I will keep a notes doc for each project I work on, where I dump all my running notes and ideas to keep in mind for later. But I find it can get challenging trying to look up information later that I know I wrote down, but I can't remember exactly where or what phrasing was used to make it easy to search for.
I still prefer paper books to ebooks....
